June Ends and New Things Begin - Photo Gallery
I haven't posted much lately, because there's been lots going on over here. One of the things I've been working on was trying to add a gallery to show just what I've been doing. Mind you I'm just getting reacquainted with blogging as it's been years, so please bear with me. The first post is up so please check out the - DSigned4u Gallery. I hope you like what you see!

Truckers and Angels - Hand Painted Tees
A couple years ago I sold hand painted outfits and t-shirts, mostly for kids but I did a couple adult size. While I'm not currently taking custom orders I do plan to do more painting very soon. But I thought I'd show a little bit of what I have done.
This little guy loved trucks, so trucks it was. I also painted a small red stop sign on the back.
So no new custom orders but I do have some other things in the works. Be on the lookout!
I also plan to learn to sew this summer. I am excited!!! My only problem is having enough time and money to support all my hobbies/ventures. Well... I'll make it work somehow.

One mom ordered these for Grandparents Day.

Braids! Mohawk, Fauxhawk - Fun & Funky Styles
I'm blessed to have so many outlets for my creativity. One of which, is braiding hair. As I wear my own hair naturally (no trans-formative chemicals i.e. perms) it helps that I can braid my own hair. But I also braid other people's as well. Here's some of my work:
This little lady cut a section of her hair right before picture day so I added some for this style.
I like braiding! If you're in the Queens, NY area and would like your child's hair done, in either of these styles or some other cute do, please don't hesitate to message me.

Hand Made Hair Bows - 1st Korker Bow!
As an auntie of 3 & cousin of dozens, I love doing what I can for and with the kids. Earlier this year I was putting together an outfit for my 5 year old niece. When I went to look for a hair bow to accessorize I didn't care for the prices or the selection (mind you, I did only look in a few beauty supply stores). Being the creative soul that I am, I looked at the bows and decided I could make some myself. And that's exactly what I did.
I did some research, headed to the craft store and got started. And this was the result, my first korker ribbon bow!

I have since made several small korker bow sets as well as other kinds of bows. These you'll see in my next posts. Stayed tuned...
